Introduction

Quantace Research and Capital Private Limited ("Quantace") recognizes the importance of safeguarding sensitive data, including client information and research reports. This policy outlines basic cybersecurity practices to protect against unauthorized access and ensure the confidentiality of our data.

Data Protection

  • Confidentiality of Research: All research reports will remain confidential until publicly released. Access to reports is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • Basic Encryption: Sensitive data, including client information and research reports, will be encrypted during transmission to prevent unauthorized access.

Access Control

  • Role-Based Access: Only employees directly involved in research activities will have access to sensitive systems and data. Access is granted based on job roles.
  • Secure Authentication: All systems containing sensitive data will require secure passwords to prevent unauthorized access.

Incident Response

  • Basic Incident Handling: Any suspected cybersecurity breach must be reported immediately to the Compliance Officer. We will take necessary steps to contain and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Employee Awareness

  • Basic Security Training: Employees will be briefed on basic cybersecurity practices, such as safeguarding passwords, recognizing phishing attempts, and securely handling sensitive data.

Data Backup

  • Basic Data Backup: Critical data, including research reports, will be regularly backed up to ensure data recovery in case of system failure or loss.
