Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy

Introduction

Quantace Research and Capital Private Limited ("Quantace") is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, safety, and inclusivity in the workplace. To ensure a harassment-free work environment, Quantace adheres to the principles outlined in the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013 (SH Act), including utilizing the SHe-Box portal for grievance redressal.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees of Quantace Research and Capital Private Limited. Given that Quantace employs fewer than 10 individuals, the organization falls under the jurisdiction of the Local Committee (LC) established by the district authorities for addressing grievances.

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Ensure a workplace free of harassment and discrimination.
  • Provide clear procedures for reporting and addressing grievances related to sexual harassment.
  • Promote awareness and compliance with the SH Act and the SHe-Box portal framework.

Commitment to a Harassment-Free Workplace

  1. Focus on Prevention:

    Quantace is dedicated to fostering a culture of respect and safety by proactively preventing harassment through awareness programs and training initiatives.

  2. Clear Reporting Mechanisms:
    • Employees may report grievances internally or through the SHe-Box portal.
    • Quantace provides guidance and support for accessing appropriate grievance redressal mechanisms.

    All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality to protect the complainant.

  4. Non-Retaliation:

    Quantace prohibits retaliation against employees who report grievances in good faith.

Awareness and Training

Quantace will organize annual initiatives to:

  • Educate employees on their rights under the SH Act.
  • Disseminate materials about the SHe-Box portal and grievance mechanisms.
  • Conduct training to sensitize employees about workplace harassment and its prevention.

Supervision and Compliance

  1. Compliance Officer Responsibilities:
    • Oversee adherence to this policy and facilitate grievance redressal.
    • Ensure awareness campaigns are conducted and complaints are resolved promptly.
  2. Monitoring:

    Complaints and resolutions will be reviewed periodically to ensure compliance with the SH Act and alignment with the organization's values.

Future Considerations

As Quantace grows, this policy will be updated to reflect changes in workforce size or operations. Should the organization expand to 10 or more employees, an Internal Committee (IC) will be formed as mandated by the SH Act.

Review and Amendments

This policy will be reviewed annually or as required to remain compliant with the SH Act and other relevant regulations.
